In the month of February we honor the virtue of Wisdom. Take a look at some of the learning offerings for our Skyhawks.
Black History Month
On February 1st we begin Black History Month. Black History goes beyond a month, and we will continue to work towards building diversity and equity here. Students will participate in daily learning invitations about Black leaders who lead impactful change in our history. Through stories and videos, our Skyhawks will celebrate these journeys. We look forward to a Global African Icons Exhibition at our school on February 23, 2023. Thank you to our Catholic School Council for helping to support this learning initiative. On February 24, 2023 we will be participating in a Black Excellence liturgy at 1:15 pm. Parents are welcome to join us.
Winter Walk Month
Blessed Scalabrini has signed up with Ontario Active School Travel to participate in this winter celebration beginning February 1-28, 2023. We encourage you to walk or wheel to school during this month.
P.A. Day
This Friday, February 3, 2023 there will be no school for students.
Carnaval Week
During the week of February 13-17, 2023 we will be participating in some wonderful celebrations brought to us from our French teachers.
Term 1 Report Cards
On February 22, 2023 your child(rens) report card will be available from the Parent Portal after 4pm.
Family Day
On February 20, 2023 it is Family Day. The school will be closed. We hope you have an enjoyable time with your loved ones.
Ash Wednesday Mass
On February 22, 2023, Father Carlos will lead us in a mass at 9:45 am in the gym. Our families are welcome to join us.
