As we continue to prepare for his coming, we can find joy in knowing that the Lord will come. Advent is a time of joyful waiting and joyful giving.
We find joy in knowing that soon it will be Christmas,
A time for celebration
A time to remember that Jesus is the reason for the season,
A time to remember that it isn’t what we do that’s as important as who we are:
Who we are is this:
A gift from God to the world.
A gift of hope
A gift of joy
A gift of truth
A gift of wisdom
A gift of courage
A gift of compassion
In this season may we unpack these gifts with care and wonder.
As light comes from our Advent candles,
May the blessing of Jesus Christ come to us,
Warming our hearts and brightening our way with God’s love.
